This couple is incredibly special to me. Morgan is my oldest cousin on my mom's side of the family, and all throughout my life she has been such a light, inspiration, and encouragement to our family. She has the biggest heart, and always puts other people first. When Morgan brought Nathan around for the first time, we all immediately loved him. From so early on, we just knew he was the one. Nathan is so steady and takes such good care of her, and he instantly blended in with our crazy family. I couldn't be more thrilled for their wedding, and it was such an honor to design their invitation suite.
Morgan chose a partially customized version of the Fleur | Rouge set for her invitation suite. Together we worked on rearranging the graphics and layouts, creating custom calligraphy styles, and choosing variations in font. All together in her package, she got an Invitation, Details, RSVP, Wedding Map, and address stickers for her envelopes. Morgan's mom actually came up with the Wedding Map, which turned out beautifully! I just had to go in and make some slight Photoshop edits to remove words and places originally on the map that were taking away from the overall scene, and update some address changes. I'll include before and after pictures of the map below!
Here's a bit from Morgan on how it all turned out!
My fiancé and I absolutely loved working with Sarah Wishing/ S.M. Wish Designs! From the first meeting with Sarah, we knew it was her goal to make sure we were completely satisfied customers. She really cared about us and our vision. She was very flexible and easy to communicate with throughout the process. We appreciated how she made everything customized to our style and wedding, yet still used her own creative eye to guide us along the way. Her graphics are gorgeous! Our guests have been messaging us with rave reviews about the invites they received, saying things like how beautiful and lovely they are! I am so lucky to know Sarah and have used such a talented artist for our invitation sets. We are so thrilled with how everything turned out. Thank you, S.M. Wish designs, for the amazing job well done!
Before & After of the Wedding Map.
A few Photoshop edits were needed for the Wedding Map that Morgan gave me--I removed the "Pittsburgh, Oakland" text in the top right corner, switched the star from one side of the street to the other for the Twentieth Century Club, and updated the font for the Wyndham.
I currently offer three options for choosing an invitation suite: template, partially customized, or fully custom. Morgan chose a partially customized suite. We didn't directly use the Fleur | Rouge template from which it originated, but went in to make edits to the layouts and fonts. For more information on how choosing your suite works out and all that's offered, read my blog post here.
Because each bride is unique in what they need when it comes to stationery, price variations and total costs tend to differ. The least expensive route is choosing a template. If you see a set you like, but want changes to colors, fonts, layouts, etc., you can choose a partially custom set, which is in the middle range of pricing. But if you want a fully customized set, for instance one based off of your wedding colors, flowers, or something you may have seen on Pinterest you liked, we can do that too! Feel free to contact me for more information with what you're looking for to get a quote on your stationery.
